On Wednesday night I had the pleasure of attending the Museum of the Moving Image in New York City as EA SPORTS looked back on 25 years of the groundbreaking franchise Madden NFL.
Hall of Fame running back Marshall Faulk was the host and was joined by Cam Newton QB, Carolina Panthers, Michael Vick QB, Philadelphia Eagles, Dave Swanson Madden NFL Developer, and Andrew Anthony The voice of EA SPORTS as they walked through all 25 years of Madden and talked about each season and what made that year special.
Highlights
- Faulk talked about how he grew up playing Madden and how it was an honor being in the cover back in 2003.
- They talked about Vick essentially broke the Madden game with his 99 speed back in 2004.
- Newton jokingly complained that the Madden creators need to make him faster.
- Both Newton and Vick said they wouldn’t dare to play with the Falcons right now (everyone laughed).
